Inside the world of Formula 1
F1 Racing magazine, also published as GP Racing, was a long-standing guide to the world of Formula 1. Offering in-depth news analysis alongside world-class features based on unparalleled access to teams, drivers, and key figures in the sport, the magazine underwent a design refresh in 2017. The update featured more expansive imagery, bespoke feature treatments, and a cleaner presentation, making it more representative of the sport as it transitioned into the modern Drive to Survive era of F1.
My key responsibilities included collaborating with the editorial team to develop feature ideas and create world-class magazine layouts. Drawing from the incredible LAT photographic archive, which was my primary source for imagery supporting our historical feature series, and working with contemporary F1 photographers, the magazine became a window into the fast-paced, intense world of the sport.
